About Josh

My name is Josh Cousineau, creative blog name huh?

I am a 28yr old church planter at Redemption Hill, in Auburn Maine. My wife, who is my high school sweetheart, and I have been together for 13 years and married for almost 10. We have 2 sons, 6 and 4 and a baby girl, 2, with one on the way! I also am a founding member and core team member of the Gospel Alliance New England. My heart and passion is for the church of Jesus Christ, especially here in New England.

I started this blog not because I am an expert, but because I have many questions and know writing and talking about what I write can help me think better, and know Jesus more. I enjoy writing, and hope that you will join me in the process.

My theology is centered on Christ and the understanding that the cross is the center of all human history. I like to learn, study, spend time with my family. My goal on this blog is to help give a voice for a Christ-centered approach to church planting, missional living, family life  and youth ministry.

Some of my Writing -
To get a sense of my writing here are a few post worth checking out…

  1. Hi Josh,

I am emailing to let you know that we are including a link to your article Meet Jill & Cliff (& The Holy Spirit) in this week’s distribution of the Berean List. There is nothing you need to do, I just thought I would drop you a line to let you know.

Below is a little paragraph about what we do if you aren’t familiar.

“With the goal of glorifying God, each week we will deliver edifying articles to you, so together we can “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).These articles are checked and double checked for sound biblical doctrine and theology. You will also be introduced to active discussions concerning important issues with a christian worldview.”

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

    Thanks,

    Josh-
curious about how the missional community discussion went up in Winslow.
I am from the area and was wondering how that went. Praying it went well.

I’d love to talk shop with you sometime. If you are willing… i can tell you more of my story
and would love to hear more of yours.
