I love the movie Band of Brothers, there are so many great things a leadership team can learn from that film, that is another post another time. As I have mentioned a couple times before I am big on, ‘getting the men.’ I see an indispensable link between getting the men, and gospel growth and movement in a ministry.

Paul’s Band of Brothers -
In the book The Trellis and the Vine, they look at how critical the work of a team, or band of brothers, is to the vitality of us as leaders and also the growth of the movement of Jesus.
“The apostle Paul himself had a large network of colleagues and co-workers tho worked alongside him in his ministry. Up to 100 names are associated with Paul in the New Testament, of which around 36 could be considered close partners and fellow laborers. Paul uses two names in particular for them: fellow workers (sunergoi) and ministers (diakonoi).” (pg. 112)
What about you, do you have your band of brothers? Are you held accountable to fight against sin, mortifying the flesh and living by the grace of Jesus?
In my life I have found that having a band of brothers is near indispensable to my soul!
