I am super excited that I have been able to be part of the one day youth conference The Calling. At my church a couple years ago we had an idea to do a one day youth conference for students, youth workers, pastors, youth pastors or anyone who worked with students. What we started 3 years ago has grown, way beyond what we ever thought or intended it to be, but we are thankful for what God is doing in and through it.
This year a couple things changed. The first, and major was the location. In the past we have hosted this conference in Auburn Maine, at East Auburn Baptist Church (the church I am on staff at). However this year God has opened up the door for us to host The Calling in two strategic places. These events will be held in Saint John New Brunswick Canada and Haverhill Mass USA. The second, which has already been pointed out, we are doing it in multiple locations. We are also in talks with one or two other locations to hold this one day conference this fall [if you would like to chat about hosting The Calling, email me and we can chat josh @ atmospherechurch.com].
For those of you who either live in Northern Maine or Saint John NB or in NH, MA, VT, or Southern Maine we would love to see you at one of The Calling events coming up.

The first Calling Youth Conference included Dr. Bob Frederich, a pastoral mentor of Vision New England, and Mark Gedicks, Pastor of Windham Baptist Church in Windham ME as keynote speakers. This conference took place on May, 16 2009.
